Tour Description:

Can You Believe It, were going to Mexico to tour the Mexico Branch of Jehovah's Witnesses. The trip down and back is full of wonderful places to stop and visit. The whole trip will be one big sight seeing event. Ever opportunity we get we will visit with the local Brothers and Sister along the route. Many are really excited about seeing, tasting, and feeling the sights, sounds, and flavors of Mexico. Doing so in the comfort and safety of a touring bus and in the company of the happiest people on face of the earth.

We start off each day with breakfast. Once on the bus each morning we do the daily text together.

The most important part of the trip and the main reason for the trip is us being able to visit the Societies facilities in Texcoco. Many new friends will be made and possibly even acquaintances will be renewed. Once back in Juarez you will be bubbling over with enthusiasm and excitement about all the new places you have been and all the people you have meet. Yes tears will be shed as we hug each others necks and say goodbye to our new bus family but not to fret to much, we'll keep in touch.

The bus we charter will be a very modern and comfortable bus with all the niceties you could ask for. We will stop for breaks and stop to eat on a regular basis so that no one tires out. We will make this trip as safe and as comfortable as possible. The motels are true Mexicana and top notch. All the places we stay at and eat at will have safe drinking water. Of course the food will absolutely knock your socks off.

Here are just a few of the many exciting places we get to experience all up and down the country of Mexico.

Cd. Juarez. Mexico’s fifth largest city and number one offshore assembly or maquiladora industry. Juarez has rich history with superb restaurants, and a great old city market with bargain shopping. Most here speak some English.

Chihuahua. Lots of history here. It has been home to such notorious figures as Benito Juarez and Pancho Villa. Silver mines are plentiful in the area.

Zacatecas. A town with a beautiful view. We can tour Cerro de la Bufa from where there is a beautiful view of the city and it is also the starting-point of a cable-car ride which goes up to the Cerro el Grillo.

Teotihuacan Pyramids. These pyramids are on the sight of one of the most impressive ruins of a entire city in the whole world.

Chiconcuac. A town famous for its wool sweaters, sarapes, and rugs.

Chapultepec. Located in a vast 551 acre park ornamented with fountains and sculptures where ancient cypress trees grow and museums, lakes, restaurants, and amusement parks flourish.

Cuernavaca. A city with myriad's of brightly colored flowers, colorful markets and a city full of old colonial charm. Cortez resided here and Emperor Maximillian built the house 'India Bonita' for his Indian mistress. The town park contains a herb museum (Museo de la Herbolaria).

Leon. Leon is a modern industrial city. Know for its leather goods - shoes, boots, saddles and etc.

Aguascalientes. In Aguascalientes we get to admire and shop in a city famous for embroideries, weaving. openwork and perfumed vineyards.

Taxco. Built on the sides of the mountains and the edge of the cliffs. Taxco’s old cobblestone streets wind over the hills, disappear in mysterious nooks and often lead to romantic little squares. It is the renowned center for the production of silver objects, enlivened with the bustling activity of its silversmith workshops.

Acapulco, the worlds most exciting resort town. Towering mountains surround a spectacular natural harbor where the sea meets the shoreline of soft golden sand. See the world-famous divers at La Quebrada make their spectacular leap off the cliffs into the ocean 136 feet below.

HERE you can check out your great hotel in Acapulco.
