Tour Description:

Time is fast approaching. Soon we'll be fishing, diving, snorkeling, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, shopping, sightseeing, or just laying around on the beach or by the pool, your choice. Following is some information for you about our trip. If you have any questions feel free to call anytime.

Of course the main reason BCT visits San Carlos is to lend support to the recently formed English Congregation there. To do so those who want to can join them in the ministry and attend some congregation meetings. Doing so is truly a interchange of encouragement! (Romans 1:1, 12)

SATURDAY - Arrive Tucson Arizona. Check into hotel, rest up, and get ready for a great San Carlos Ocean Excursion. For those who have vehicles they are safe and secure to leave at the hotel at no cost to you.

Tubac, AZSUNDAY - 8:00 a.m. Depart Tucson Arizona. Visit historical sites of the old west like Tubac AZ on the way to San Carlos. All cross Nogales border together. In the Sonora Mexico city of Hermosillo where we will have lunch together. By late-afternoon we will be checking into our beach side hotel with plenty of time to relax, wash down the travel dust with a pool side ice cold drink, then for the evening we have a special treat...

We take a sunset cruise that lasts till it's good and dark. Included is free Margaritas, sodas, chips & Salsa PLUS Mariachi music for the whole 2 hour cruise, but the real reason for the cruise is to see the luminaries in the water. Watching certain areas of the sea water around you literally light up is an experience of a life time. No way I can explain this wonderful phenomena.

MONDAY - This is our day on the boat. It's our sea, sand, cliff, fish and wildlife encounter. We cruise the Sea of Cortez as we observe the wide variety of fish, mammals, and birds found here. If you like, the encounter can be up close and personal as you snorkel the beautiful clear water of several bays and coves. Aquarium Cove is the favorite for snorkeling. Do you like bottom fishing, trolling, diving, more snorkeling, and water skiing? Good, then this is your day. Our local guide knows just the spot for you. Tackle and bait included. In May we will troll for Dorado (mahi-mahi), sailfish, ship jack and marlin.

Weather permitting, we will cruise over to see the famous Seal Island (San Pedro Nolasco) and hear the hundreds of sea lions that make their home there. Snorkeling equipment, diving equipment (two tanks), wet suits, sandwiches and refreshments are included.

TUESDAY- Free day. Do any or all of the following: Go out in service with the English or Spanish Congregation. Visit with local brothers and sisters!  Shop, swim, fish, sightseeing, sauna, massage, or just Relax. Attend Congregation meetings (English or Spanish - your preference).

So that we can get familiar with San Carlos and Guayamas lets load up and do some sightseeing and shopping.

WEDNESDAY - Eat breakfast and load up for a cruise Mexican style to the beautiful oasis of Las Barajitos. There are miles of trails to hike, both guided and unguided, to study bird, plant, and animal life in this unique ecosystem. There are also miles and miles of seldom explored shore line with great rock and sea shell hunting and collecting opportunities! Guest are also allowed to enjoy the observatory for astronomical observations!

Supper will be prepared and served for us as soon as sun sets. We spend the night there and food song and play is all free. One thing for sure that Jehovah's people love to do and that is EAT!!!! Good friends and good food. Yummmmmm.

THURSDAY - 9:00 am Today we get to play like were stranded on a beautiful Island which is really a oasis. Rock hunting is at its best here. A hike back into the Oasis park is also in order. Mid-afternoon we load up the boats and cruise back to San Carlos for some fine dining on our final night in San Carlos.

FRIDAY - We will pack up early and head home. Say good bye to the hotel staff and off we go. We have lots to talk about and many an experience to share on the ride back to Tucson where we will have some time to enjoy the once wild west desert town of Tucson.
A stop for some last minute shopping in the border town of Nogales is in order!

SATURDAY - Fly/Return home
