Sounds good! I say no problem. Go alone and be free to stay lost, spend all your time trying to figure out what to do next and how to do it. Worry about your safety and the safety of those traveling with you. Pay big bucks for parking (especially in NYC) and meals in places you wish you had never stopped to eat at.
