Brother Martin & Brother House and their assistant Bro Osborn are now shaking off their jet lag and getting back into their routine and are happy to report that over all the two Bible Lands Trips (Israel Only and the Israel, Egypt, & Turkey) were a success.

We feel portions (comment was edited for the sake of brevity) of a comment Brother Martin received from one of the recently returned BCT travelers was worthy of including in our BCT Travel Blog.

BCT’s willingness to include these comments (commendations and suggested improvements) is proof that BCT is OK with others knowing we have room for improvement and will listen and when appropriate implement reasonable suggestions. For you prospective future travelers that means each trip just keeps getting better and better. With two Israel trips under our belt and our first Egypt and Turkey trip behind us we are looking forward to 2012.

Here are some excerpts from the above mentioned comments made by email to Brother Timothy E. Martin (BCT Tour Guide):

Hello Tim,

My wife and I have benefited much, much more than we initially expected. The dinner in “Abraham’s Tent” was especially unforgettable. Your presentations and short speeches were full of valuable lessons to all of us! You have helped us to review lots of things we don’t want to forget.  Please thank Liz also for her loving concern and kindness she has shown to us. I appreciate that BCT has well organized this trip in many respects.   Here are some minor suggestions for the company:

·         A flash light for Hezekiah’s Tunnel
·         Rubber slippers . . . for Hezekiah’s Tunnel
·         A hat to shield the strong sunlight
·         Bring along some of our publications for the trip, such as, “See the Good Land” brochure, a pocket size NW Translation and a songbook Examining the Scriptures Daily booklet

Your (Tim’s) presentations were really awesome and unforgettable indeed at proper Biblical sites!  Furthermore, Your applications for modern day Christians were    super excellent! Your short speeches were very, very beneficial especially because you had a theme for each country tour.
