I’d just like to tell you what a terrific job Charlie and his wife Angie did with hosting our group. The Bethel tour at Nairobi, was exceptional. Charlie had contacts at the branch who gave us special attention. He was personal friends with the care taker at the Assembly Hall who also gave us special attention. Charlie was eager to see that all of our personal needs were meet through out the trip. Charlie was very good at spotting the wild life. He helped those of us who needed visas to get visas without encroaching upon others. I just can’t say enough good things about him. He and his wife worked well together coordinating our passes into the parks. There were no inconveniences because Charlie had everything under control. He handled every situation with professionalism. All 3 of the parks we visited were unique and had something different to offer. I wouldn’t change a thing. I loved the tents we stayed in at Masai Mara. This is where we saw more cats, leopards and lions. Lake Nakure, is where we saw more birds including flamingos and this is where we saw a black rhino. Samburu was my favorite because it had a little of everything. This was where we saw crocodile. We saw a least one species of every animal on our list of “Animals to see in Kenya”, even the cats. The Ark hotel added something very special to the trip. I was glad to go to Tanzania. But we didn’t get close enough to Mt. Kilimanjaro, to see it well. That wasn’t Charlie’s fault. It was a cloudy day and we didn’t schedule a big enough time slot to view the Mountain. This is the only change that I would make to this trip. Stay 1 night in Moshi, instead of Arusha. In Arusha we had a driver to take us to an open field to view the Mountain. In Moshi it was not necessary to hire a driver, because the Mountain is viewable right there from the Keys hotel. The hotel offered additional excursions. For $50 you could go into the National Park to view the Mountain. By this time we had seen all the animals and we had such a good view from the hotel, we passed on the extra excursion. I will definitely recommend BCT to all my friends. And to any who may go to Africa, I hope they will be assigned to Charlie. I was extremely happy with the entire trip.
