Tour Overview:
The City of New York, most often called New York
City, "The Big Apple" or "The city that never sleeps" due to it's extensive
24-hour subway system and constant bustling traffic and people, is the
most populous city in the United States. Located on the Atlantic coast of the
Northeastern United States, the city consists of five distinct boroughs: The
Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island - All of which you will
either have time to explore or drive through on this 14 Days and 15 nights tour!
Our NY Classic with San Juan Cruise tour takes you all over New York City
visiting such sites as the South Street Seaport, China Town, the Empire State
Building, Broadway and Times Square, and of course includes tours of the office complex, the Patterson Educational Center in Patterson, NY and Watchtower Farms!Starting in 2010, this tour now includes a
very special Bible tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art! The Met Bible Tours
started about three years ago and is organized by Oasis Group Tours owned and
operated by a local NY brother. The tours take about three hours and is
entitled: "The Woman and the Seed" (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia). This
is the tour the Gilead School for missionaries take. The tour is becoming more
and more popular and you will see why as you enjoy the tour. Very insightful and
encouraging! The local Tour Guides assisting Oasis Group Tours do a very
professional presentation.
All of the activities are well planned, safe
and guided by well-qualified and loving tour guides
who will keep you informed and always go out of
their way to ensure that your visit to New York
is a memorable one!
Fortunately, the fun doesn't stop there! You'll also get to take in the sites and sounds of the magnificent Niagara Falls from the Canadian side! First, all that you have seen spread out between the office, shipping, and factory complexes at the U.S. Bethels you will now see all together in one beautiful spot - The Canadian Bethel Branch, in Georgetown, Canada! And later, celebrated for both their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power, The Niagara Falls are not to be missed! In fact, why not board the Maid of the Mist and cruise right up to the very foot of the falls! Seldom may you ever get to see as awe-inspiring a site (and sound)! And a stroll around this energetic town, shrouded in maple leaf confetti, is definitely something that should be on your list!
Bermuda offers an array of exquisite
beaches of pink sand and turquoise
water. Why are the beaches pink? The sand contains pink flecks that are the
remains of a tiny organism known as the red foam. This combined with tiny
particles of broken shells and bits of coral create the pink hue of Bermuda’s
beautiful beaches.
Officially known as St Christopher, the island was named by Christopher Columbus
on landing there in 1493, but it wasn't until it became an English colony in
1623 that its name was shortened to St Kitts, by which the island is
known today. Dominated by an extinct 3,792ft (1,156m) volcano, the island is
covered in green vegetation and sugar cane fields, and is ringed by sandy coves,
coral reefs and clear waters. Most beaches to the north are black sand due to
the volcanic nature of the island, but the beaches at the southern end,
including Frigate Bay, Banana Bay, Sand Bank Bay and Cockleshell Bay, are what
beach-gurus dream of: deserted stretches of fine white sand; while those
yearning for waves will find Atlantic surf along the east coast.
Modern-day San Juan encompasses a vast
metropolis that covers seven unique and distinct districts. This makes for an
eclectic combination of sights and sounds that is essential to the wonder and
joy of visiting San Juan. Old San Juan itself consists of narrow streets
encompassing over four hundred years of history and tradition. Dine in one of
the great establishments on Fortaleza Street, party in San Sebastián until dawn,
or simply stroll along the charming avenues and thoroughfares. Similar to
Europe, a famous tradition in Old San Juan is to people-watch, and there is no
better place to indulge in this activity than from one of the several plazas
that are
located throughout the city.
