To all BCT Travel Agents - New Procedure.  [Posted July 7, 2011]

Hello valued Travel Agents!

To begin with, BCT would like to thank those of you who have encouraged your customers (and continue to do so), to sign on with BCT for a vacation of a lifetime that includes visiting Bethel!

We also want to take this opportunity to explain to you the new procedure for all travel agents who might book one of their clients with BCT in the future.

Previous to the implementation of this new procedure for Travel Agents, you were asked to use the same procedure as a BCT Trip Partner. That presented many challenges for Travel Agents, because you want to have more control of the booking process and the subsequent care of your clients.

The new procedure is simple yet allows you the Travel Agent to be personally involved in your clients booking and travel arrangements.

From this day forward, to book one of your clients on a BCT trip, all you will need to do after you and your client know which trip they want to take, is follow these easy steps:

  1. Make the reservation online for your client directly from our website. No special portal is needed.
  2. Enter the login information you and/or your client prefer.
  3. In step 3 of 8 of the reservation process, include in the comments box who you are and which Travel Agency you work for.
  4. Finish the reservation and confirm your client's reservation by paying whatever you and/or your client decide appropriate to pay.
  5. Preview and check your clients invoice and personal travel account for accuracy.
  6. Notify your client of their username and password so they can view their trip documents and invoice and you're done.

A few additional points to remember:

If you wish to receive all notices concerning your client's trip for you to forward to them, you must enter your email address in the reservation form.

No matter whose email you use, all notices should go to BOTH you and your client so they can view their personal travel account at any time.

Whether or not you use your agency's email or not you should provide your client with the username and password information so that they (along with you) can view their personal travel account at anytime.

And finally, before or after you provide your client with their log-in information, if there is anything on the reservation you would like to add and/or modify just let us know and we will be happy to take care of it, if appropriate to do so. Once a reservation is made, we must process all changes (deletions or additions).

BCT will post on each reservation made by a travel agent a note that neither you nor your client will be able to see indicating that BCT will pay your 6% commission* on the date due, which is after each trip.

Again thank you for considering promoting our tours with your clients.

Thanks,
BCT Owner
Rocky Scrimshire
